Hailing from France,…Glorior Belli came out from the dark in 2002. The first demo “Evil Archaic Order” was released in June 2004, followed by the first album “O Lavdate Dominvs” in May 2005. Despite their exquisitely filthy & brutal nature, their recordings emit a mesmerizing otherworldly resonance that cannot be denied. An omnious rumble & surge…..Always moving forward with various points of tension & terror! Glorior Bellis’ whole aesthetic has a strangely melodic bent that helps it to stand out from other black metal records. Somehow they manage to write bestial art that is ultra- catchy while at the same time being suffocatingly black & grim. “Manifesting the Raging Beast” is their second full length album and first for their new label-coven: Southern Lord. We feel that Glorior Belli holds their own against other classic Black Metal weve released like: CRAFT, LEVIATHAN, DEATHSPELL OMEGA, and FUNERAL MIST as well as creating their own unique sound.
